Utama Potential University Equips Students and Alumni to Be Ready to Face the World of Work in 2026 Through the Webinar "Getting Career-Ready: Understanding the World of Work"

Medan, March 17 2026– Entering an increasingly dynamic and competitive employment era, Main Potential University (UPU) continues to demonstrate its commitment to producing graduates who are adaptive and competitive. One of the concrete efforts made is by holding a national webinar entitled“Getting Career-Ready: Understanding the World of Work”on Tuesday (17/3/2026) via the Zoom Meeting platform.

This activity, which took place from 14.00 to 16.00 WIB, was enthusiastically attended by dozens of UPU students and alumni. This webinar is designed as initial preparation for participants to understand the importance of thorough career planning, starting from recognizing one's potential, understanding relevant career options, to preparing realistic first steps according to the current and future needs of the world of work.

The main event of the webinar presents expert speakers in the field of career development, namelyMother Najla Afiyah,as a Customer Success Associate from Kinobi. In her presentation, Mrs. Najla thoroughly discussed various important aspects that must be mastered by job seekers, including:

  • Soft skills and hard skills that are most needed by companies today.
  • Work ethics and professional culture in the modern corporate environment.
  • Effective strategies in the recruitment process, including creating an attractive CV, interview techniques and professional communication.
